Summit Township Recycling 

We are required to provide a Recycling Service to our Summit Township curbside customers. This is a new program for not just our customers, but us as well. We are trying our best to work out any route issues, and we may need to make changes at times so that we can continue to provide a quality service. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

*CHANGE IN RECYCLING SCHEDULE AS OF 1/1/25*

Recycling is picked up on the second Thursday of every month. It is picked up separately from your normal garbage pickup.

If for some reason we are running behind and do not pick up your recyclables on Thursday, please leave them out, and we will continue picking up on Friday as well. 

Please make sure recycling items are loose in the can and not bagged.

 Acceptable Item Examples Include: Newspaper, full-size office paper, cardboard, paperboard boxes, plastic bottles, plastic jugs, plastic jars, aluminum drink cans, and metal food cans
